Turn Your ear unto me, O Lord,
Answer me for I am oppressed;
Allow not my plea be ignored,
For I am feeling so depressed.
Some people have been so greedy,
And I am so faithful to you;
But protection makes me needy,
Save your servant who has been true.
Please have pity on me, O Lord,
Because You are truly my God;
To whom I have loved and adored,
For You have healed where I am flawed.
Please have pity on me, O God,
For I call on You all day long;
Worshipping to honor and laud,
Singing praises with hymn and song.
Please give me joyfulness, O Lord,
While I am lifting my soul;
For I remain in one accord,
And enabled to reach my goal.
For You are good and forgiving,
Full of grace to everyone;
Being thankful for my living,
Knowing that you gave us Your Son.
Open Your ears unto my prayer,
Pay attention, I need relief;
Because I know that You do care,
And of my faith with my belief.
When trouble lurks, I will call out,
And knowing that You will respond;
So I will never have a doubt,
Since faith and hope goes far beyond.
No one can ever do like You,
With all nations that You have made;
But they are unable to do,
Because of their motives have strayed.
I need You to teach me Your way,
So that I may live in your truth;
And how I can trust and obey,
No longer that I should be uncouth.
