Carnal Knowledge

Those who believe in Jesus Christ,
God can never try to condemn;
Because they cannot be enticed,
By the desires within them.

Standards of the Holy Spirit,
Have set you free of sin and death;
Because of what you inherit,
That will be beyond your last breath.

It is impossible to do,
As to what His standards demand;
Because of weaknesses in you,
Following every command.

But God sent His very own Son,
With human nature as sinners;
So that our debt would be done,
And then we could all be winners.

God condemns the immoral ways,
Who lives not by corrupt nature;
Anyone who no longer strays,
Will then become a new creature.

If you live by corrupt nature,
You will then have that attitude;
Conformed to that legislature,
Allowing yourself to act rude.

But by the spiritual nature,
You will act more like Jesus Christ;
While having a bright future,
Willingly to be sacrificed.

The corrupt nature leads to death,
Because of the state of the mood;
As life will end after last breath,
For the corrupted attitude.

But the spiritual nature,
Will lead to a new life and peace;
A brand new life that will feature,
Euphoria that will not cease.

His Holy Spirit lives in you,
Though you are under control;
As long as you will remain true,
He will protect your very soul.
