Jesus Christ the Son of God is the only one to save you, and the only way to the Father. No church or person can save you, but only Jesus Christ can save you. If anyone tells you that salvation is only through a club membership to a structured church or through them, don’t believe it because you can go to a Church all your life and never know God because you don’t know him personally as your Lord and Saviour. Going to a Church doesn’t automatically turn you into a Christian; it is only if you have a personal intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that you become a Christian.
People have to be led to Jesus Christ rather than to any Christian denomination, as God has to be put in first place. The only separated brethren are those who don’t know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour.
Stay strong and simply repent and totally trust Jesus for your Salvation. People can be the Lord’s instruments to evangelize, but they cannot claim to convert anyone because only Jesus does that when you become convicted of your sins, and become born again. You also have to believe the Gospel. Please see the relevant passages: See John 3 3 (KJV) .3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God and Mark 1:15 – And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
After you have become born again, you are then transformed to a new person and should become an imitator of Christ. See how we must only trust God not to be led astray as seen in: Psalm 40:4 (KJV) 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Jesus was the only one who died on the Cross to save us. First of all Jesus was completely innocent, as He was the only one without sin, and He bore all our sins, sufferings and sicknesses in His Body. See how Jesus conquered our sins in the passage below, and when he has forgiven us our sins they don’t exist anymore. 1 John 2:1-2 (KJV) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Unless you believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God, the Bible says that you don’t have eternal life, but we must not judge the people who don’t know Jesus as their Savior yet, and no one has the right to call someone unsaved as only God reads hearts. Instead we need to love, have mercy, and pray for those who don’t know the Lord yet, so that they become converted. Jesus has made us a promise that he would save anyone who believed in him and he keeps his promises.
Those people who do what the Lord says are not condemned. See John 5:24 (KJV) 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. When you belong to the Lord you have assurance of salvation and are his child forever, as no one can snatch you away from his hand as seen in John 10:28 (KJV) 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
