Prayers

Date:

If any of you have trouble,
You must pray with all of your heart;
God will pull you from the rubble.
So that the trouble will depart.

If you are happy, sing a song,
Pray to thank God everlasting;
Praise the Lord all day and night long,
Through your worship and your fasting.

If you are sick, call church leaders,
Have them anoint you with oil;
Allow them to be the readers,
For curing you of your toil.

Prayers offered in faith will save those,
Who are sick for the Lord to cure;
If He is your Savior you chose,
The Lord will make you well and pure.

If you have sinned, He will forgive,
Pray and remember to confess;
The Lord will show you how to live,
And will be enabled to bless.

Admit your sins to each other,
And pray so that you will be healed;
As you embrace one another,
God will be your comfort shield.

Pray for having His approval,
How effective within your life;
Pray for corruption removal,
All the thoughts that are causing strife.

When having a drought, pray for rain,
So the crops are able to grow;
To ease the agony of pain,
For the goodness from blessings flow.

If someone wanders from the truth,
Pray for bringing that person back;
Let him not to become uncouth,
Because the attitude they lack.

Show them that they are a sinner,
Expose the error of their way;
Help them to become a winner,
Repenting that caused them to stray.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
