Nothing but the truth in His Word,
Righteousness endures forever;
Only the truth that you have heard,
That no one can ever sever.
Prestigious people oppress,
With having no reason at all;
But it is His Word that will bless,
A buffer that will break my fall.
I find joy within His promise,
Like finding a priceless treasure;
Living here that has gone amiss,
Priorities put on pleasure.
I hate the lying and cheating,
It has made me so disgusted;
But love what Christ has been teaching,
Unto me He has entrusted.
Seven times a day I praise God,
For His righteous regulations;
Worshipping to honor and laud,
And in joyous celebrations.
There will be soon the lasting peace,
For all those who love what was taught;
When all wars and conflicts will cease,
And peaceful settlements are sought.
Some people will gripe and grumble,
At the results of elections;
But they will falter and stumble,
The courts reject their objections.
I have waited with hope for Christ,
To save us from all the chaos;
And never to become enticed,
By something away from the cross.
My soul adheres to His commands,
And been loving them very much;
As beside me He always stands,
While feeling His gentle touch.
I have followed His guiding light,
Since I had come out of the womb;
And will be shining very bright,
When finding treasure in the tomb.
