The Perfect Gift

In view of all that we have shared,
About the compassion of God;
It shows just how much He has cared,
For every time we are flawed.

I urge you to be sacrificed,
Being a living sacrifice;
No longer to be so enticed,
By walking upon a thin ice.

Dedicate to God and please Him,
On the ways that you can perform;
And He will be giving you vim,
Once you do finally reform.

This worship is appropriate for you,
Anytime of the day or night;
Not just when you are feeling blue,
Even when things are looking bright.

Do not become like these people,
Rather change the way that you think;
Let others know of the Gospel,
Touch not an alcoholic drink.

Then you will be clean and sober,
And understand His desires;
In your leisure and your labor,
Giving you what it requires.

Know what is perfect and pleasing,
And what would be good for the Lord;
With harmony without ceasing,
Ensuring He is not ignored.

Because of kindness God has shown,
Think about yourself more highly;
Your thoughts will lead you to His throne,
As He looks on you divinely.

Your thoughts lead you to good wisdom,
Based on what God has given you.
And judgment down from His Kingdom,
That will always be sound and true.
