Turn to Jesus

Date:

The Father has given His love,
Because He does love us so much;
Floats down on the wings of a dove,
As it gives us His gentle touch.

So each of us is His child,
As precisely as what we are;
Considered tender and mild,
Each of us as a shining star.

But the world does not recognize,
And will not acknowledge either;
Our God with wisdom so wise,
As being omniscient neither.

So it is not completely clear,
But this we actually do know;
As to when Jesus does appear,
The resemblance of us will show.

So all of us with confidence,
Continue to keep themselves pure;
To God having obedience,
With sinful corruption no more.

Those who still live a sinful life,
Are disobedient to God;
He will give them His wrathful strife,
Because of being badly flawed.

Christ appeared to take away sin,
Those who live in Christ are winning;
Since they are purified within,
For they have given up sinning.

Never let anyone deceive,
If you confess God will approve;
And in Jesus you do believe,
All the flaws God will remove.

The person who lives in the sin,
His life belongs to the devil;
And remains corrupted within,
And being controlled by evil.

All those who have been born of God,
No longer live in sinful lives;
As long as they become not flawed,
They will go when Jesus arrives.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
