Good Pictures

He is laying an elect,
And a precious cornerstone;
That many just might reject,
While others will condone.

Whoever believes in Him,
Will not ever be ashamed;
And never will they feel grim,
Of His Word being proclaimed.

This honor belongs to those,
Who do believe in the Lord;
With a heart and mind that flows,
With His Word in one accord.

But those who do not believe,
In the stone that was rejected;
Are not able to receive,
The salvation selected.

A stone that people stumble,
Trip and find it offensive;
They complain as they grumble,
Becoming apprehensive.

People trip over His Word,
For they refuse to believe;
Ignoring what they have heard,
And in what they will receive.

This is how they will end up,
Rotting in their desire;
Drinking poison from their cup,
Ending up in the fire.

You are the chosen people,
Part of the royal priesthood;
Serving God in His temple,
Living your life as you should.

People who belong to God,
Is a blessing in His sight;
Must always honor and laud,
Within His marvelous light.

From the darkness you were called,
Into His marvelous light;
His Spirit cleansed where flawed,
To purify and make bright.

You were not pure at one time,
But now paint a good picture;
Since you quit a life of crime,
By being a new creature.
