Hypocrisy

Date:

Do not take an oath on something,
From Heaven or upon the earth;
Only state to what truth will bring,
The value from its lawful worth.

If any of you have trouble,
Let your faith enter in your prayer;
As to make it through the rubble,
For your message to God you share.

Prayers offered in faith saves the ill,
Allowing the Lord to cure them;
Much more quickly than any pill.
Not letting someone to condemn.

If you have sinned you must confess,
Be assured you are forgiven;
Knowing for sure the Lord will bless,
Of a salvation in Heaven.

Admit your faults to each other,
Praying so that you will be healed;
Showing your sister and brother,
That the Lord is also their shield.

Prayers offered with His approval,
Can be the ones most effective;
Ensuring of the removal,
Whatever has been defective.

Pray with all of your heart and soul,
Grasping your hands together tight;
Sincerity helps to reach your goal,
For making your prayer to be right.

Pray for the rain to reach the root,
Of everything that you sow;
And the sun will help bear you fruit,
So that it will flourish and grow.

If someone wanders from the truth,
Assist to bring that person back;
Ridicule not or be uncouth,
Rather show them just what they lack.

Whoever brings a sinner back,
Causing the error of his ways;
Enabling to strengthen his knack,
For resistance where someone strays.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
