A wicked person borrows,
But will never pay you back;
Just like swallows or sparrows,
Will battle for what they lack.
A righteous person living,
Will always be generous;
To others always giving,
Making them look glamorous.
Those who are blest by the Lord,
Expect to inherit the land;
Those who shun and have ignored,
Are standing on sinking sand.
The Lord directs where you walk,
As He delights in your way;
If cursing is in your talk,
It is proof you disobey.
When I fall He helps me to stand,
Prevent me to fall headfirst;
The Lord holds on to my hand,
While He quenches my thirst.
I have been young and now old,
But saw no righteous forsook;
As the timeline does unfold,
Since he had followed His Book
Laws of God are in his heart,
He holds him with a firm grip;
Let no one sever them apart,
Knowing he will never slip.
For he will avoid evil,
As he will always do good;
Far away from the devil,
Doing the things as God would.
No one could be more secure,
Than held with the hand of God;
Never faced with any lure,
To entice and become flawed.
