All Circumstances

I am asking you to show,
Gratitude to those who lead;
They have wisdom for to know,
How to help us to succeed.

I am asking to love them,
Thinking highly of their deeds;
Not to protest or condemn,
For their commands and their creeds.

Live in peace with each other,
Teach the ones not living right;
Help as you guide your brother,
Cheer them up with your insight.

Be patient and help the weak,
Not paying back for a wrong;
Rather solutions you seek,
Inspire to keep you strong.

Always do things that are good,
For yourself and for others;
Finding out just what you should,
For your sisters and brothers.

Always be very joyful,
And to pray without ceasing;
Never try to be slothful,
So blessings keep increasing.

Give thanks whatever occurs,
Since it is the will of God;
For it is Christ who concurs,
The places that we are flawed.

Do not put out the fire,
Nor despise what God reveals;
Put aside your desire,
To evil sinful ordeals.

Keep holding on what is good,
Avoiding what is evil;
Doing the things that you should,
Contrary to the devil.

May the God who gives you peace,
Make you holy all the way;
So your life has a new lease,
Halts you from going astray.
