Pay your debts as they come due,
Owe no person anything;
Giving love who come to you,
For dividends it will bring.
One debt you cannot pay back,
That is the debt of love owed;
Because your account will lack,
Sufficient funds as bestowed.
Loving others meets the law,
The way that Moses had taught;
Only God can clean the flaw,
From any transgressions sought.
Commit not adultery,
Never murder, never steal;
Rebel not or disobey,
Or an underhanded deal.
Give your love to your neighbor,
For love will never do harm;
Either in leisure or labor,
Never be cold rather warm.
You know the times that we live,
And with knowing the season;
Time to wake up and forgive,
Time to construe a reason.
It is time for waking up,
It is closer than you think;
Smell the coffee in your cup,
For salvation that you drink.
When we became believers,
The darkness is nearly done;
And we can be receivers,
The salvation from the Son.
Get rid of things from the dark,
Take up weapons for the light;
As you prepare to embark,
Unto the spiritual fight.
