A Greater Reward

I did not speak before,
About the mystery;
Of wisdom that will pour,
From our history.

I decided to deal,
With only one story;
How your bruises will heal,
Through Christ and His glory.

Jesus was crucified,
For payment of your debt;
And it is rectified,
When confessing regret.

I was nervous and weak,
Before I knew the Lord;
Not knowing what to seek,
Felt like I was ignored.

His Spirit gave me might,
Power through His wisdom;
Anointed with insight,
Flowing from His Kingdom.

I use wisdom to speak,
To those who are mature;
For answers that they seek,
On things they are not sure.

Some rulers rule today,
And be gone tomorrow;
Wisdom shows them the way,
For avoiding sorrow.

One will not understand,
The concept of the Lord;
And of what He has planned,
If constantly ignored.

No eye has ever seen,
No ear has ever heard;
Experienced what has been,
As written in the Word.

Nobody has conceived,
The things God prepared;
Only if loved and believed,
Will they ever be shared.
