Backward Sounds

We must always consider,
How to encourage someone;
Whether brother or sister,
As well as daughter or son.

Show each other how to love,
And how to do all good things;
How to show honor above,
Everything the Lord brings.

We should gather together,
With some other believers;
Just like birds of a feather,
As spiritual transceivers.

For the day will soon be here,
With the coming of the Lord;
The day we cherish so dear,
That can never be ignored.

If we continue to sin,
After we have learned the truth;
Being corrupted within,
An attitude still uncouth.

No sacrifice takes away,
Our sins we repent not;
Because we constantly stray,
For earthly pleasures we sought.

All that is left is to wait,
For judgment and raging fire;
Since we have sealed our fate,
From our own desire.

If someone has been accused,
Rejecting what Moses taught;
Be not a victim abused,
And for mercy to be sought.

If someone shows no respect,
Onto our triune God;
The reaction should reflect,
They should be remaining flawed.

We should know the God, who said,
“I alone will take revenge;
And I will pay back instead,
For I will judge and avenge.”
