Live Holy Lives

Your mind has to be clear,
And ready for action;
Confidence without fear,
Having no distraction.

Confidence in what God,
His kindness will bring you;
When you honor and laud,
With a spiritual view.

Christ was here once before,
And will appear again;
For giving you the cure,
Of what you did back then.

As children who obey,
You do not live the lives;
That you lived on that day,
Like when desire drives.

You lived to satisfy,
Sin since you did not know;
Other ways to apply,
For your pleasures to flow.

God said to be holy,
In each aspect of life;
Worshipping Him only,
He will help you through strife.

Be holy as is He,
Transiently sojourn;
For your home you will see,
When the horn sounds that morn.

He is God to judge all,
By the things you have done;
No faith is the downfall,
Who know not of the Son.

To know is to believe,
God is impartial;
Through salvation receive,
In faith is essential.

So maximize your life,
Because you were set free;
No longer bond to strife,
Living in liberty.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart.
