If you want to set your heart right,
Pray onto the Lord our God;
He is willing to give insight,
The places where you have been flawed.
Stretch out your hands onto the Lord,
Be obedient and sincere;
Let not His commands be ignored,
Every Word respect and fear.
If you are holding onto sin,
Throw away as far as you can;
Allow not to corrupt within,
So God can implement His plan.
Let not injustice take control,
By surviving within your house;
It could easily take your soul,
As well as infecting your spouse.
You are able to show your face,
Without ever being ashamed;
Because the Lord loves to embrace,
When you have gone out and proclaimed.
His embrace makes you feel secure,
No longer will you feel afraid;
As you avoid a tempting lure,
As long as His Word is obeyed.
You will forget your misery,
Like water that has flowed downstream;
Just like some kind of mystery,
That was occurring as a dream.
Life will be brighter than the sun,
As darkness of life like the dawn;
A new day and life has begun,
As the night and old life are gone.
Your confidence will bring you hope,
For you will be feeling secure;
And can safely rest as you cope,
Because you are created pure.
Rest easy without any fear,
The wicked will lose their eyesight;
Since your confession was sincere,
His forgiveness is a delight.
