Broken Heart

Do not ignore this fact,
One day spent with the Lord,
Makes a mighty impact,
And have loved and adored.

For one day with the Lord,
Is like a thousand years;
Being in one accord,
He will calm all your fears.

As with a thousand years,
Is like having one day;
Waiting as end time nears,
As we trust and obey.

The Lord is never slow,
In what He has promised;
Some may want Him to show,
Being a pessimist.

Rather He is patient,
And not want to destroy;
He is Omniscient,
Will bring comfort and joy.

God wants to give a chance,
Be able to repent;
Then able to advance,
Into His Holy tent.

You need to turn to Him,
Able to change your way;
So you do not feel grim,
Start to trust and obey.

Let it not be ignored,
Keeping a firm belief;
On the day of the Lord,
Will come just like a thief.

For if you are around,
Heaven will pass away;
Having a roaring sound,
Occurring on that day.

The universe will burn,
Everything destroyed;
Because we do not learn,
From what the past deployed.

Start thinking of the kind,
Of the life that you live;
With broken heart in mind,
And ask God to forgive.
