You were once dead,
Because of sin;
Worldly instead,
Depraved within.
You went the ways,
Of this domain;
As life decays,
Causing a strain.
As the king rules,
Just like a god;
The folks were fools,
Showing him laud.
All of us dwelled,
Within their towns;
As they dispelled,
Of being clowns.
For desires,
Being depraved;
That acquires,
As misbehaved.
Having thought,
With being flawed;
But Christ had caught,
The sin from God.
For rich in grace,
Through His great love;
We can embrace,
Mercy thereof.
Through faith God saved,
Both you and me;
No more enslaved,
To sin to see.
Through faith in fact,
God does forgive;
Such a kind act,
To let us live.
He helps uplift,
If you confess;
God gives a gift,
In which will bless.
