You do not need someone to write,
About the all dates and the times;
When Christ comes like a thief at night,
If He has committed no crimes.
You already know very well,
The day will come for when the Lord;
Each of us invited to dwell,
If we have been in one accord.
Everything is safe and sound,
Destruction will suddenly hit;
Corruption and deception found,
Like a child who will not quit.
Being sudden as labor pains,
That comes to a pregnant woman;
While causing such stress and strains,
Till the delivery is done.
They are unable to escape,
Since they do not live in the dark;
For the Lord molded to reshape,
On the direction they embark.
That day will not be a surprise,
As someone who is a thief would;
For the righteous sees the disguise,
Knowing what possibly could.
You belong to the day and light,
So we must never fall asleep;
As anyone sleeps in the night,
Like a bunch of misguided sheep.
We must stay awake and sober,
As well as put on faith and love;
Those who are drunk only slumber,
Unprepared what will be thereof.
Because we belong to the day,
We must never become wasted;
Continue to trust and obey,
Cherish in what God invested.
God wants you not to feel the wrath,
Rather to obtain salvation;
Stay on the straight and narrow path,
Giving faith a firm foundation.
