Humble believers should be proud,
Being humble is essential;
For standing out within the crowd,
And in being influential.
Wealthy believers should be proud,
Being rich should make them humble;
Having clout so they are allowed,
To make it known and not grumble.
But the rich whither like flowers,
As the sun rises with the heat;
Drying up in a few hours,
That is soon causing them defeat.
The flowers drop and beauty gone,
For the rich people will soon die;
And be buried by the next dawn,
As others will sorrow and cry.
Blessed are those who will endure,
When tested with tribulations;
Relief through prayer will be the cure,
Giving them new revelations.
Because when they have passed the test,
They will be receiving a crown;
Showing that they have done their best,
Love from God will banish the frown.
When someone is being tempted,
Say not being tempted by God;
The fact is God is exempted,
Trying to make anyone flawed.
All are tempted by desires,
Causing them in going astray;
As satisfaction requires,
Them to start wandering away.
Desire gives them birth to sin,
As sin grows it gives birth to death;
And will shun any discipline,
Continuing till the last breath.
Death will be brought forth by neglect,
Not worshipping the loving One;
And by the Scriptures to reject,
The Gospel written of the Son.
