Practice your faith to our Lord,
Show how much that He is adored;
Favor not one from another,
Treat equally as a brother.
If two women come to worship,
One with graceful clothes and make-up;
The other having tattered clothes,
Stockings torn exposing her toes.
Which one would you seat at the front?
And the other you would be blunt;
Which one would you discriminate?
How would you seal each of their fate?
Judging appearance what you see,
Is it fair for you or for me?
Judge not a book by its cover,
On your head decisions will hover.
God chose not who is rich or poor,
Opportunities are galore;
It is because of a free will,
That He has given to instill.
Show respect to all with the love,
That the Lord has sent from above;
Get rid of any evil thought,
For someone that might be distraught.
You are doing right to obey,
Not deviate to go astray;
For the enemy if your soul,
Would be Satan taking control.
Favoring one for another,
Is unfair onto the other;
You then have committed a sin,
That has corrupted you within.
Talk and act as one to be judged,
Not as someone who is begrudged;
For God will give mercy and grace,
And at Judgment He will embrace.
