Praise God, Father of our Lord,
Through His mercy giving new birth;
Because He is loved and adored,
Since we value His priceless worth.
We have been born to a new life,
With confidence which is alive;
As we cope through toils of strife,
Until Jesus Christ will arrive.
An inheritance never destroyed,
Corrupted or to fade away;
No matter what we have employed,
That has blocked to go astray.
An inheritance kept for you,
Up in Heaven guarded by God;
As long as you do continue,
He will cure where we have been flawed.
Through faith we have a salvation,
That is ready to be revealed;
At the end times Revelation,
When the Book of Life is unsealed.
You are extremely glad of things,
Even though you have to suffer;
What kinds of trouble that it brings,
But Jesus is there to buffer.
Testing your faith reason for ills,
As fire tests genuine gold;
A faith that is more precious fills,
Honor and glory that is bold.
Although you have never seen Christ,
You proceed to love and believe;
Why His life had been sacrificed,
Knowing of what you will receive.
The prophets investigated,
As they did carefully research;
How much that was delegated,
To pastors and priests of the church.
Delegated to His Spirit,
That pastors will preach the Gospel;
So all of us will benefit,
Spreading it to all the people.
