Fighting for the Faith

I will continue to be glad,
No way could I ever be sad;
For I am lifting up my voice,
Proclaiming while I rejoice.

Because we are in the season,
To celebrate for a reason;
I know that I will be set free,
Through your prayers for it has to be.

And through the help that has enticed,
Comes the Spirit of Jesus Christ;
I eagerly expect and hope,
For enduring while I cope.

There is nothing to be ashamed,
I will speak softly as proclaimed;
Very bold with honor in Christ,
For all that was as sacrificed.

So whether I will live or die,
Jesus Christ is the reason why;
I am able to cope through life,
With the tribulations and the strife.

If I continue to live now,
I am sure He gives the knowhow;
Even though I will get insults,
My work will produce more results.

I find it very hard to choose,
Either way I will never lose;
To leave this life and be with Him,
Far better choice not to be grim.

But in this life if I remain,
Some may think it to be insane;
That I will continue to live,
In this life for I want to give.

Joyful in faith helps you to grow,
As I proclaim so I can show;
What was at one time that had been,
Will be coming to you again.

So live to reflect the Gospel,
Ignore no more the lost people;
That are struggling as you had,
Giving faith and hope to be glad.
