Praise the Father of our Lord,
God has blest us every day;
Spiritual blessings so adored,
That Heaven has sent down this way.
Before creation of the world,
God had chosen us through His Son;
Perfect as His plan was unfurled,
To forfeit the Anointed One.
Because of His love He resolved,
Adopt us through Jesus Christ;
But the requirement involved,
His true Son to be sacrificed.
He freely chose to do this act,
So the kindness that was given;
As a means for to interact,
With the Father up in Heaven.
Through the blood that comes from His Son,
We are set free from our sin;
So that victory has been won,
From the iniquities within.
God forgives faults of our ways,
From His overflowing kindness;
Every time one of us strays,
Giving insight to cure blindness.
He pours out kindness by giving,
All kinds of insight and wisdom;
If in the light of the living,
Just the ticket for His Kingdom.
When He revealed the mystery,
God decided to do through Christ;
And planned to bring all history,
After His Son is sacrificed.
Then Jesus Christ would be the head,
Everything in Heaven and earth;
So each one of us could be fed,
With the nourishment of true worth.
You heard and believed the message,
The truth of the Good News does save;
And gives you the right of passage,
To Heaven rescued from the grave.
