My children, there are so many people who are extremely depressed and many who are suicidal. Those who are in these states are usually in some sort of bondage to their thoughts, some to their past and some to unconfessed sin. These thoughts can range from negative, oppressive, selfish, self-absorbed, condemning thoughts to those of total failure (for example, “I am a total failure, and there is no point in my life, I am useless, I can’t do anything right, I am a waste of time and space”), which makes them feel terrible or have real sinking feelings, leading to depression which can be severe sometimes and in some cases even suicide. In many cases, the devil has a grip on them for he has won the control over their minds as he preys on people who are vulnerable. Those people who have chemical imbalances or clinical depression or depression of all types have to fight the devil even more with the help of my Son Jesus to stop the devil from controlling their minds.
My children, it does not have to be the case for these poor people. My children do not listen to the lies of the evil one for he is a liar through and through, see John 8:44 (KJV): Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Don’t let him have a steel-handed grip on you!
Whenever you feel depressed, give the Lord Jesus the thought, hand it over to Him for the Lord Jesus conquered Satan on the cross. He is a defeated foe and his time is running out because he and his demons will be thrown into hell forever, and you are more than conquerors through the blood of Jesus shed for you. When a thought assails you, ask yourself where does it come from? Would Jesus say that about me, when I am His beloved child? If not, it is most likely due to the devil attacking you and making you feel depressed and uncomfortable. So make every thought that you have captive to the obedience of Christ.
When you give the negative thought to Jesus, stand by the truth of His word as seen in James 4: 7-8(KJV) 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you
James 4:10(KJV) 10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
If the negative thought persists, ignore it however hard it is, and abandon yourself completely in Jesus’ arms like a little child and He will care for you because He is your shepherd and He looks after His children who are His sheep. If the thought is sinful or impure, repent of it immediately and don’t let it sink in and cause terrible damage, but reject it completely and God who is so merciful will forgive you and make you as white as snow. Always make Jesus the centre of your life, give yourself completely to God, and let go and let God be the Lord and Saviour of your life. As John the Baptist says in John 3:30 (King James Version (KJV)30 He must increase, but I must decrease. Then you will have the mind of Christ and so will be able to imitate Him because He is the One to follow, as He is perfect and sinless.
Depressed and suicidal people are usually in bondage, and slaves to their thoughts, but Jesus wants to set them free to bear fruit and love Him and other people because when they are self-absorbed they can’t think of others and their lives are destroyed. See the following verse:-
Luke 4:18-19(KJV) 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
Ask Jesus to cover you with His Precious Blood from head to toe and to bind the attacks and hand them over to Him to put on His Cross, and to claim freedom from bondage in the name of the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. Afterwards thank Jesus for answering your prayer and worship and praise Him.
If you put Jesus first, and live for Him, you will be set free from depression and despair because He frees you from bondage and enables you to live a fruitful life of loving God and others and being filled with joy and peace.
