God is With You

Before He formed you in the womb,
God knew you before you were born;
And when you will be in the tomb,
He will know where you will sojourn.

You have been given a reason,
A purpose for being holy;
That many may call as treason,
And may cause you to feel lonely.

Maybe to be as a prophet,
Or possibly as president;
But never to be a puppet,
For setting a new precedent.

Be cautious on how you will speak,
Some see a senile old man;
While others will try to seek,
To make a corruptible plan.

I know that you will have the skill,
And go wherever you are sent;
Although there are some who would kill,
And finding scandals to invent.

Fret not about any of them,
Because the Lord will rescue you;
And will ensure as to condemn,
Everyone that would construe.

The Lord will extend out His hand,
Sending blessings unto your heart;
And will help you to firmly stand,
All the words that you will impart.

God will put His words in your mind,
In order to change a nation;
As support as you will soon find,
To stop the threat of invasion.

You will uproot and tearing down,
As you destroy and overthrow;
Some people may still wear a frown,
Even though the blessings will flow.

You will plant as well as rebuild,
As a nation that will renew;
Joy of salvation will be filled,
Because the Lord will be with you.
