Going First

We must love each other,
Because love comes from God;
With your sister and brother,
Show Him honor and laud.

All of who loves has been born,
From God and also knows Him;
Even though where we sojourn,
Every day can be grim.

The person who does not love,
Never has known of the Lord;
Who is reigning from above,
But they have merely ignored.

For God has shown us His love,
By sending His only Son;
As a sacrifice thereof,
So that victory is won.

Into the world so that we,
Could have life everlasting;
So that we would ever be,
Able through prayer and fasting.

This is love that comes from God,
Sent for the payment of sin;
Cures us from where we are flawed,
Being corrupted within.

Nobody has ever seen,
Although that we may have heard;
The place where Christ has been,
Upon reading of the Word.

We know that we live in Him,
Because of thoughts and merit;
Giving us spiritual vim,
As from the Holy Spirit.

We have seen and testify,
The Father has sent His Son;
And I could never deny,
That victory has been won.

For His love has reached its goal,
So that we can look ahead;
The Lord has saved our soul,
For the eternal homestead.
