Do not let sexual sin,
Perversion of any kind;
In corrupting you within,
While messing with your mind.
This is not appropriate,
Having righteous behavior;
It could be sealing your fate,
Blocking you from your Savior.
It is not good talking trash,
Dirty jokes and foolish talk;
It causes a sinful rash,
In the darkness you will walk.
Give thanks to the Lord instead,
While walking in the light;
Your footprints stay where you tread,
Since you remain in His sight.
Because you know very well,
No person with lust or greed;
Will wind up going to hell,
For spreading the wild seed.
For you cannot inherit,
From the heavenly kingdom;
If filled with corrupt merit,
And using depraved wisdom.
Let not anyone deceive,
You with some meaningless words;
Stick to Scripture and believe,
What has had proven records.
Once you have lived in the dark,
You must be filled with His light;
So you shine where you embark,
And start doing what is right.
Live as children who have light,
For light produces all good;
Because it will give insight,
Having you do what you should.
Come on and wake up sleeper,
Start to rise up from the dead;
And being a light keeper,
To have good choices instead.
