Faith assures us of the things,
That of what the future brings;
The existence as to be,
Of the things we cannot see.
Because of faith God accepts,
Our worshipping concepts;
Passed down from our fathers,
Preserved by our brothers.
Through His Word faith convinces,
What God created evinces;
The beauty of heart and mind,
Had made the world for mankind.
This means of all that has been,
And will either seen or unseen;
As part of a plan unfurled,
When God created this world.
Faith led Abel to give God,
The means to honor and laud;
Rather than being enticed,
As to what Cain sacrificed.
Through his faith Abel received,
Through God because he believed;
By giving him His blessing,
What Abel was professing.
Through his faith, Abel still speaks,
While his spirit still seeks;
Even though he maybe dead,
His spirit is not in bed.
By faith Enoch translated,
That death is not mandated;
But it is not mistaken,
Since Enoch had been taken.
Before God had taken him,
Enoch had spiritual vim;
But God had been very pleased,
A relationship was appeased.
Without faith you can please not,
If another god is sought;
You must believe God exists,
That your desire resists.
