Give unto the Lord,
You godly person;
Be in one accord,
With all He has done.
Give unto the Lord,
Glory and power;
Not to be ignored,
The coming hour.
Give unto the Lord,
That His name deserves;
How loved and adored,
Glory it preserves.
Worship the Lord God,
Showing His splendor;
Through honor and laud,
What you endeavor.
The voice of the Lord,
Flows through the water;
Blessings are secured,
For son and daughter.
His glory thunders,
Shouts with the power;
Scolding the blunders,
That makes you cower.
His voice majestic,
As it breaks cedars;
Lightning so mystic,
Striking down cheaters.
Lightning starts to flash,
Thunder makes you shake,
Sounding like a crash,
Keeping you awake.
He makes you quiver,
As He splits the oaks;
Wind makes you shiver,
A moral invokes.
The Lord sat enthroned,
As king forever;
Power as condoned,
That will not sever.
