We must love each other,
Because love comes from God;
Hate not one another,
For you will become flawed.
All of us who show love,
Then have been born from God;
Love that flows from above,
As you honor and laud.
If you do not love Him,
Then neither would you know;
Your life is dark and grim,
Filled with sin where you go.
God has shown us His love,
By sending His own Son;
As His Spirit above,
Ensured it had begun.
Not that we have loved Him,
Rather show He loves us;
People with lustful vim,
That gripes and raise a fuss.
He sent His only Son,
To pay for our sin;
For it had to be done,
So new life could begin.
No one has ever seen,
God or love He bestows.
No one has ever been,
Returned from where it flows.
If with love each other,
Then God does live within;
They are like a brother,
Since Jesus is your kin.
We know we live in Him,
He gave us His Spirit;
Having vigor and vim,
For what we inherit.
