The Lord blocks plans of the nation,
And frustrates the schemes of the world;
By crumbling their foundation,
While their plan is unfurled.
For His plans stand firm forever,
Standing firm for generations;
Plans that will not ever sever,
And needing no explanations.
Bless the state whose God is the Lord,
Bless those He chooses as His own;
Bless the land where He is adored,
Bless those with a place for His throne.
God is looking down from Heaven,
He sees the children of Adam;
As He sees what He has given,
But giving little momentum.
From the place where He sits enthroned,
The Lord looks down who live on earth;
Shines grace on those He has condoned,
And assures them a second birth.
Only the One who formed their hearts,
Understands each thing that they do;
While their mind also imparts,
Of His Word that they will construe.
No king achieves a victory,
Through soldiers under their own strength;
Without repeating history,
Faithless to persevere the length.
Victory has no guarantee,
Without faith to help one escape;
While God assists them to flee,
Camouflaging in the landscape.
His eyes are on those who fear Him,
On those who wait with hope for grace;
To rescue their souls feeling grim,
Stay alive till they leave this place.
We wait for the Lord our shield,
Who will fill our hearts with joy;
His holy name we trust to yield,
To God in Heaven we deploy.
Let your mercy rest on us Lord,
We are waiting with hope for you;
No longer shall you be ignored,
And promise in remaining true.
