Supplications through Prayers

I urge you to make petitions,
Prayers of thanks and intercessions;
For the presidents and the kings,
Through authority that it brings.

Pray for these people so that we,
Can have a peaceful life to see;
Living in a reverent way,
A godly life every day.

This is good as it pleases God,
To whom we should honor and laud;
For being both Lord and Savior,
So He looks on us with favor.

He wants all people to be saved,
Rather than to sin be enslaved;
And not to be rude and uncouth,
Instead learn in telling the truth.

There is just one God, only one,
Spirit, the Father and the Son;
And with just one mediator,
Lets us in through the narrow door.

As we know by reading the Gospel,
Christ sacrificed for all people;
To free us all from our sin,
Into Heaven we enter in.

This is true for every age,
For letting us, start a new page;
In order for reaching that goal,
Confession is good for the soul.

I am a herald for the Good News,
Teaching others to change their views;
Being an apostle to reach,
Out to the people as to teach.

What I teach I never ask why,
For I tell the truth and not lie;
A teacher in the faith and truth,
Humbled and not to be uncouth.

I offer men everywhere,
For raising up their hands in prayer;
Putting aside anger and hate.
So that they do not seal their fate.
