The Family, a Divine Gift of God

WHEN CHRIST IN THE FAMILY.

(I) Christ becomes the joy of the family. Acts 16:34; Jn 16:24

(ii) Christ, the strength of the family. Neh 8:10

“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” See IICor 12:9

(iii) Christ, the sustainer of the family.

“…..your right hand sustains me “ Ps 18:35

“…..The Lord sustains the humble.” Ps 147:6

“The Lord….sustains the fatherless and the widow.” 147:9

“The Lord is thy keeper. Ps 121:5

“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.” Ps 23:1

The Lord Jesus Christ is the keeper and sustainer of the family. He keeps the family alive by giving our daily bread. Math 6:11

(iv) Christ, the hope of the family.

Our hope rests in Christ. He is the hope of the family.

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost.” Rom 15:13

“Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Col 1:27
