There will be no more gloom,
For the land in distress;
Because a change does loom,
God is willing to bless.
God has humbled the lands,
From an earlier time;
And now no longer stands,
In paying for their crime.
Soon He will bring glory,
To the road by the sea;
In the truthful story,
The some do disagree.
By the Jordan River,
Where the foreigners live;
God will not deliver,
And will never forgive.
Those who walk in the dark,
Will never see the light;
For where they do embark,
Is never pure and bright.
The light will shine on those,
Who live in the shadow;
In the land where death flows,
That God would only know.
The nation will expand,
Increase its happiness;
Celebrate in the land,
A harvest blessedness.
All the warrior boots,
Marching into battle;
Blood flowing to the roots,
As they rock the cradle.
A child will be born,
A son will be given;
The throne He will sojourn,
Coming down from Heaven.
For as the Prince of Peace,
To be known as His name;
That evil is to cease,
Will be here to proclaim.
