At one time you were dead,
Because of your failure;
But now you have instead,
A glorious Savior.
You followed ways of here,
Within this worldly place;
Its ruler you revere,
As you honor his face.
This ruler continues,
To work in the people;
You agree with his views,
Perverse to the Gospel.
So you disobey God,
Such corrupt desires;
Having thoughts that are flawed,
Which Satan requires.
We deserve the anger,
From God giving His wrath;
That we can no longer,
Snubbed crossing our path.
But God is rich in grace,
Because of His great love;
So He went to embrace,
Each of us from above,
It is kindness that saves,
For making you alive;
Rescued out of the graves,
Once His Son does arrive.
God brought us back to life,
With Christ and has given;
That will be free from strife,
In a place in Heaven.
His generosity,
To us prepared to show;
With no atrocity,
That on the earth we know.
God made us what we are,
Created to live lives;
Being a shining star,
As soon as Christ arrives.
