You all must live in harmony,
Be benign and love each other;
It will control the agony,
Between sister and brother.

Have compassion and be humble,
Pay not back others with evil;
Avoid arguments or grumble,
Which brings joy unto the devil.

Ridicule not that insult you,
Rather bless them for what they say;
They have a right what they construe,
Through the facts that they would convey.

For you were called to inherit,
Into living a complete life;
Which will reflect through your merit,
How you endure through any strife.

Keep your tongue from an evil thing,
Your lips from speaking the deceit;
Thinking what consequences bring,
Which would be causing you defeat.

Turn from the evil and do good,
You must seek peace as you pursue;
Finding the ways of what you should,
As to what the Word said is true.

The eyes of the Lord are on those,
Who do as to what He approves;
Because of how each blessing flows,
Cleansing darkness that He removes.

His ears are hearing all your prayers,
As He confronts all the evil;
While everything He shares,
Will triumph over the devil.

Who will harm you if devoted,
By doing what is truly good;
Though some may have you demoted,
Continue doing as you should.

Do not be afraid what may harm,
Even if they make you suffer;
God will be hearing the alarm,
And will come to be your buffer.

Be sure to keep your conscience clear,
And dedicate your life to Christ;
Remember the Lord will be near,
For anything you sacrificed.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
