It is good to suffer,
So I can learn the laws;
Giving thought to ponder,
After receiving flaws.

The teaching from the Lord,
Is the truth being told;
And never be ignored,
Being worth more than gold.

They are worth more to me,
Than all of the silver;
Revealing what I see,
Laws that you cannot sever.

His hands created me,
And made me what I am;
Able to be sin free,
Through the blood of the Lamb.

God helps me understand,
For learning His commands;
And avoid sinking sand,
Knowing what He demands.

Those who fear Him rejoice,
With hope based on His Word;
As you hear His soft voice,
Abiding what is heard.

I know His Law is fair,
Suffering truly right;
To discipline to care,
So you can see the light.

Let His mercy and grace,
Comfort you as promised;
Feeling His sweet embrace,
Confessing and get blest.

Let His compassion reach,
You so that you can live;
Be glad what He does teach,
And that He will forgive.

Let your heart be fulfilled,
In regard to His Law;
Not to shame but rebuild,
That lets your heart to thaw.
