New Name

Date:

I am a herald for the Lord,
And trying to spread the Gospel;
So please let it not be ignored,
What is conveyed to the people.

I am holding a two-edge sword,
Sharper than any other blade;
That is strictly in one accord,
With anyone who has obeyed.

Because Christ knows just where you live,
For the throne of Satan is there;
Without remorse God cannot give,
Compassion for His love to share.

You are holding onto His name,
Faith in Him, you have not denied;
But no longer do you proclaim,
While you have cheated and lied.

You allow Satan in the White House,
Changing what God made into Law;
Mocking marriage with same sex spouse,
Allowing cancer to cause a flaw.

I had been a faithful witness,
Who had been killed in your presence;
But looking at spiritual fitness,
You should be looking towards penance.

Christ has a few things against you,
Like boys who think that they are girls;
Knowing that their thoughts are not true,
Wanting to wear a dress and pearls.

Encourage them the proper way,
For stopping their sexual sin;
Thinking proper and not to stray,
Which is corrupting within.

Return to Christ and change the way,
Through your actions and what you think;
He will wage war on you some day,
Condemning you for what you drink.

Let the person who has the ears,
Listen to what the Spirit tells;
The two-edge sword brings the worst fears,
Slices up where the devil dwells.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
