His Loving Presence

Date:

Continue to love each other,
Forget not your hospitality;
Seeing your sister or brother,
Through their spirituality.

Hospitality to believers,
Even if you do not know them;
But knowing they are receivers,
As redeemed, God will not condemn.

For you might show hospitality,
To angels and never aware;
So show your morality,
Showing that you are just and fair.

Remember those that are in jail,
As if you were in jail with them;
Pray where in life causing to fail,
Pleading to God not to condemn.

Remember those who were abused,
Feeling like you were mistreated;
Helping those who have been refused,
Aid and are feeling defeated.

Marriage is a worthy thing,
For both the husband and the wife;
With the peace and comfort to bring,
Sharing together in one life.

So be faithful to each other,
Committing no sexual sin,
And assisting one another,
In their spiritual discipline.

Never be in love with money,
Which easily turns into greed;
It is not the milk and honey,
That God assists you to succeed.

The Lord is your helper and aid,
Giving His peace in His presence;
There is no need to be afraid,
When you are in obedience.

Remember your leaders, who said,
The Word of the Lord unto you;
Of the love and peace you were fed,
In which the Lord is holding true.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart. His love for Christ and God is an inspiration to all who read his poetry.
