Mind the Same

I encourage all of you,
In the name of our Lord;
To agree remaining true,
And being in one accord.

I want you as united,
Having an understanding;
For becoming excited,
What the Lord is commanding.

Some people have made it clear,
That you have been quarreling;
If or not the end is near,
Causing an intense haggling.

Maybe you might follow me,
Instead of following Christ;
You need the insight to see,
Please do not become enticed.

I was not crucified for you,
And not baptized in my name;
The way that you must pursue,
In the Word of Christ proclaim.

I baptized not anyone,
For I have not been ordained;
Just when baptized through the Son,
By His Spirit we have gained.

I was not sent to baptize,
Rather to spread the Good News;
For making many realize,
Christ was sent for us to choose.

To choose between life or death,
Without any argument;
Direction after last breath,
A paradise or lament.

For the meaning of the cross,
May be losing its intent;
If Christ would suffer a loss,
No longer holding as meant.

God would destroy the wisdom,
He would reject all the wise;
Blocking them from His Kingdom,
As well as those who despise.
