We know that if the life,
We live here on the earth;
Being filled up with strife,
Seems not to have much worth.
Though it will go away,
But there will be a place;
If you trust and obey,
God will give His embrace.
Our eternal home,
Not made by human hands;
No more having to roam,
Or pains this life demands.
Verily as we groan,
Like existence we sigh;
We would feel all alone,
Without God we would cry.
For we long for Heaven,
With the right attitude;
In a new gown given,
No fear of being nude.
We have felt so distressed,
Having these carnal clothes;
If God has not blessed,
As His compassion flows.
This mortal existence,
Will be put to an end;
Eternal persistence,
That helps us to transcend.
Through God we are prepared,
Since He sent His Spirit;
The wrath we will be spared,
If we humbly submit.
So we are confident,
As long as we will live;
Since it is evident,
God is glad to forgive.
For faith is our guide,
Never guided by sight;
Trusting as we abide,
By staying in the light.
