My complaint is bitter today,
I try to control my sighing;
Nothing has been going my way,
While winding up by crying.
If only I knew where to find,
As though He has forsaken me;
Which is making me lose my mind,
All because I still cannot see.
I would go to just where He lives,
So I could then present my case;
For I am knowing He forgives,
Through blessings of mercy and grace.
But I would still have a mouthful,
Of arguments to give to Him;
For it is making me doubtful,
And the reason for feeling grim.
I desire knowing the words,
That will get Him to answer me;
And would let me fly like the birds,
Up to Heaven where I could see.
Would He sue me and hide behind,
Legal maneuvers in the courts;
For I know that justice is blind,
Or an attorney who distorts.
Maybe the righteous have a chance,
To argue and reason with Him,
And escape judgment to advance,
Acquiring spiritual vim.
If I go east, He is not there,
I cannot find if I go west;
As I wonder if He does care,
Or if He does conducts a test.
He knows the highway that I take,
And His tests I am like pure gold;
Following steps that He will make,
And His plan as it does unfold.
For I will remain on His path,
And treasure His Word in my heart;
With being spared the aftermath,
Letting Him never to depart.
