Walk Righteously

I say to encourage,
In the name of the Lord;
Never to discourage,
For His Word be ignored.

Live not any longer,
Like people of this place;
God will make you stronger,
Abiding in His grace.

Their thoughts have been worthless,
They do not understand;
As Satan started to bless,
Their liberal demand.

They exclude from their life,
The things that God approves;
Blaming Him for their strife,
That ignorance removes.

They have no sense of shame,
Do what is immoral;
Letting pride to proclaim,
Stating as the new normal.

That is not what was taught,
Through Christ that you had learned;
For the truth that you sought,
In salvation you earned.

He taught to change the way,
Through your daily living;
And if you ever stray,
The Lord is forgiving.

The one you use to be,
Ruins through desires;
Deceiving what you see,
Of what one acquires.

Get a new attitude,
Be a new creation;
No longer being rude,
Having your salvation.

Be righteous and holy,
Getting rid of your lies;
Worshipping God only,
And He will make you wise.
