Influential people,
Have persecuted me;
For preaching the Gospel,
For no reason to see.

But it is just His Word,
That is filling my heart;
With terror that I heard,
In making me impart.

I find joy through promise,
Like a priceless treasure;
Or angelic chorus,
For a singing pleasure.

I am fed up with lies,
That so many have sought;
The truth that they disguise,
But love what God has taught.

Several times a day,
I am praising His name;
Singing song as I pray,
The Gospel I proclaim.

For His righteous command,
Will bring a lasting peace;
To those who understand,
And stumbling will cease.

I have waited with hope,
For the Lord to save me;
While I live here and cope,
And finally set free.

I have carried His Law,
Obeyed His instructions;
So I get not a flaw,
And no contradictions.

I love God very much,
And follow His precepts;
For my life is as such,
To live as He accepts.
