Do not forget what you were taught,
By keeping my commands in mind;
Remembering what you have sought,
That caused you to remain behind.
They will be bringing you long life,
With many good years and of peace;
They will help you cope with the strife,
And make the hostilities cease.
Do not allow mercy and truth,
Ever try to abandon you;
Letting you to become uncouth,
So always be honest and true.
Then you will be finding success,
With favor in the sight of God;
Because He shall certainly bless,
By giving Him honor and laud.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
Rely not on your understanding;
And can take His Word to impart,
Abide as they are demanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your path real smooth;
You will feel His vigor and vim,
As you continue in His groove.
Do not consider yourself wise,
So turn away from the evil;
Enable to see through His eyes,
What is the work of the devil.
So then your body will be healed,
And your bones will have nourishment;
As many secrets are revealed,
When you experience atonement.
Honor the Lord tithing your wealth,
Giving of the cream of the crop;
He will ensure you with good health,
Fresh wine to overflow the top.
