A Fragile Gift

God gives seed to the farmer,
Food to those who need to eat;
To the soldier gives armor,
And the shoes upon his feet.

God will also give to you,
The seed and multiply it;
As He shows all that is true,
Blest by the Holy Spirit.

In your lives He will increase,
The things with His approval;
That you do to give you peace,
After the sin removal.

Confession is for the soul,
As God makes you rich enough;
If you let His Spirit control,
Even when the times are tough.

Then you can be generous,
Which will produce thanksgiving;
To the Lord because of us,
In harmonious living.

What you do to serve others,
Not only provides the needs;
For your sisters and brothers,
But a means to sow more seeds.

It also creates more prayer,
Of thanksgiving to the Lord;
Showing others that you care,
And how much God is adored.

You will honor God through this,
Genuine act of service;
Just as when two lovers kiss,
For the first time so nervous.

For your commitment to spread,
The Good News of Jesus Christ;
Shows you do not fear to tread,
In places where sacrificed.

Deep affection you will pray,
In thanking God for His gift;
While you trust and obey,
Getting a spiritual lift.
