A Listening God

I love you and miss you,
You are my joy and crown;
Knowing that God is true,
Never letting us down.

Keep your relationship,
With the Lord our God;
Please be sure to worship,
Giving honor and laud.

I exhort and to urge,
To have the attitude;
Letting your vigor surge,
With a spiritual mood.

Fight beside me to spread,
Of the joyous Good News;
So the people are fed,
To chase away the blues.

Tolerate all the strife,
Torment and the insult;
Knowing the Book of Life,
Has you as a result.

So rejoice and be glad,
Be joyful in the Lord;
With no need to be sad,
Living in one accord.

Just be considerate,
To each person you me;
Being as a portrait,
To admire to see.

The Lord is always near,
And hearing what you say;
Do not worry but fear,
As you trust and obey.

Let God know what you need,
In prayer of your request;
Asking help to succeed,
While doing your best.

His peace which goes beyond,
All comprehending realm;
Will guard your thoughts that bond,
When Christ is at the helm.
