If I told you that Christ,
Had been brought back to life;
Would you become enticed,
With enduring the strife.
How can some of you say,
Coming back from the dead;
Impossible price to pay,
When going to your death bed.
If you cannot come back,
Then Christ is not living;
There would be a bridge to lack,
For God as forgiving.
If Christ has not come back,
The Word has no meaning;
The Gospel you would lack,
That faith would be leaning.
But you are a witness,
Who has lied about God;
Through spiritual fitness,
Knowing who is a fraud.
Because we testified,
That Christ had been brought back;
When He was crucified,
After the day turned black.
By chance if it is true,
The dead are not revived;
It would be telling you,
That Christ has not survived.
Then your faith is worthless,
Sin is still in control;
And God could never bless,
While saving your soul.
If Christ is our hope,
No one to share sorrow;
And no way for us to cope,
To live for tomorrow.
Then those who are asleep,
As believers perished;
No longer fit to reap,
The hope that you cherished.
But Jesus has come back,
With a wonderful pledge;
To get on the right track,
And away from the ledge.
