Do not be concerned about,
Your own interests you have doubt;
But the concern of others,
As your sisters and brothers.

Never attempt to be rude,
But have the same attitude;
That Jesus Christ had addressed,
Of someone who has transgressed.

He was in the form of God,
Being equal and unflawed;
But He took not advantage,
As equal in heritage.

Jesus Christ took on the form,
Of a servant as a norm;
And becoming like a man,
Like God had within His plan.

Christ had the perseverance,
Having human appearance;
Being humbled with each breath,
Obedient until death.

Jesus Christ suffered the loss,
When crucified on the cross;
Enduring the pain and heat,
The plan of God was complete.

God gave Him such an honor,
Since Christ was not a goner;
As honored above all names,
Just as the Gospel proclaims.

The name Jesus has more worth,
Than all in Heaven and earth;
All will be humble and bow,
As everyone will vow.

Each person on bended knee,
In His presence when they see;
Confessing Jesus as Lord,
As He is loved and adored.

We see Him as a Brother,
With glory to the Father;
And God will ensure to bless,
Anyone who will confess.

Richard Sherrer is actually retired from the United States Air Force about 14 years ago. He had lived in Korea while in the Air Force in 1972 and 1973. You might be asking yourself what brought him back to Korea. I guess you could say that it was a lot of love here, for the country, the people and especially for a Christian woman that he met on the Internet. She convinced him to return to be with her. So he came originally to teach English in July of 2000. They were married July of 2001. Now turned poet which is subject that is near and dear to his heart.
